Upon receiving his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Oshkosh, Wisconsin in January of 1969, Bob served two years active duty in the United States Army, to include a tour in Vietnam from June of 1969 through June of 1970.
Prior to moving to Arkansas, Bob was a member of Post 449 in Elm Grove, Wisconsin. Bob has been a member of Post 344 Horseshoe Bend for 5 years and has served as Post 344 Vice Commander, and currently as Post 344 Commander for 4 years now.
Bob has been married for 37 years and has three children, one girl and two boys. He worked 25 years for the Roundy’s Company in Wisconsin, a wholesale grocery warehouse. He retired in September of 2003 at the age of 58.
He is the Vice President of the Loft Board at Turkey Mountain golf course in Horseshoe Bend, he serves on the Board of the Horseshoe Bend Boating and Fishing Club, and he is a member of the Horseshoe Bend Chamber of Commerce.
